Gray Squirrel

This shoot was taken by @AFashionNerd, aka, Amy Roiland. She is a fashion blogger who after taking various photos of her inspired me to feature the clothing I like to wear. The clothing in this shoot I will mention every article of clothing I have on... visible.

We shot this in Franklin Canyon. Its a nice place to walk and run, maybe walk the dog. Many locals of Studio City and Beverly Hills who live in the hill or around the area come up to hike and walk here. The scenery is beautiful and there are a lot of paths to take.

We shot this in the evening so the sun was just setting but the trees provided enough shade to keep the bright sun from hitting us. The clothing I wore for this shoot are some of my favorites. I have already featured the shoes and even the shirt in other outfits I have worn.

 We'll start with the shirt and necklace. The shirt I purchased in Hollywood on the strip, east of Highland Ave. It was one of those touristy stores that had souvenirs and clothing. I wasn't planning on buying anything in particular when I went. I just remember going to New York City several months ago and feeling like I wanted to be a "tourist" the most recent time I went, I wanted to feel like a tourist for an hour or so in Hollywood. While passing the stores, I saw this one place that was selling shirts for an affordable price and I came across this shirt that had a skyline view of downtown Los Angeles, CA. For those of you who already know me, I love the color gray, and having a white shirt with a gray background on it caught my attention, and even better, one of my favorite cities which happens to be the city I live in. I had to make the shirt mine so I bought it.

The necklace, well I can't really help anyone to locate cause it was given to me by one of the first contacts I made in Los Angeles. The funny part is that even he doesn't know where he got it.

The shorts I got from a Pacsun store in "The Grove" shopping center. The shorts are meant to be swim trunks so they are't designed to have pockets. There is one pocket but its not a big pocket to carry say a big wallet full of cash. The shorts are very comfortable I will note. For me, I know its not in style but I prefer looser clothing just because I feel less constricted and my lower extremities can breathe a bit. I know styles nowadays prefer tight fit and I am getting use to them. I still like loose fit.

I can't forget to mention the shoes as they are still one of my favorite pairs I have worn. They are very soft and comfortable inside and make great to wear around all day. I feel like I am walking on clouds when I wear these shoes and their look is so chic! Until next time I post everyone =)
