Mini Lumberjack

This one of my favorite shoots I did with Amy Roiland, aka (@AFashionNerd). These pictures were taken with her Nikon D5100. It to me is an amazing camera and it was the camera that started my initial blogs. The title "Mini Lumberjack" came from a designer named Rolando Correa who came up with the clothing combination that I had in my closet. 

I think the style of clothing is perfect for fall and so is the title. The clothing I am featuring for this shoot is Izod, Patroncito and my favorite Alejandro Ingelmo Shoes.

I didn't know about Izod until a friend purchased the shirt for me. Initially it didn't fit cause he didn't know my size so he got me the large size. It clearly didn't fit but I fell in love with the orange and yellow and plaid style of the shirt so I had to get it fitted. I couldn't part with it and now I can wear it out. The, pants are made Patroncito, a local clothing designer store in Downtown Los Angeles. They are based out of the Fashion District off of Santee Street. Because of its cool look, I will have to find stop by there more often for more clothes that they have. The Ingelmo family has been designing and making high end shoes sense the days of his great grandfather. His grandfather was a cobbler of Spain, and from there migrated to Cuba. After moving to Miami from Cuba, Alejandro has taken his family legacy and now makes some of the coolest shoes out there.

The Dragon Ring

The "Dragon Ring" is one of the posts I have been really looking forward to posting for a while now. I was never one to really wear jewelry, but lately I have taken interest in it. I have been looking at jewelry more and more after this photo shoot. The ring itself, I'm not sure who made it but it really captured my interest in rings.The ring came to me from a roommate who is a designer himself. He had to move to Florida because extenuating circumstances but I believe  he will be back in Los Angeles soon. The pictures were taken by @Afashionnerd.

The button down gray shirt that I am wearing is designed by Eighty Eight. Its one of my favorite shirts to wear and has a very upscale look. . The pants are made by Patroncito, I got them in Downtown Los Angeles in Santee Alley. Its a popular location in the fashion district to find quality clothing at an affordable price.

The shoes I have feature before on a previous blog. Alejandro Ingelmo Shoes. I came across these shoes in a store in the Beverly Center.

 The store is called Politix. I fell in love with them when I came across them and have wear them often. I even took them with me to my recent trip to San Francisco, CA. I am also going to feature them on several upcoming blogs.

Gray Squirrel

This shoot was taken by @AFashionNerd, aka, Amy Roiland. She is a fashion blogger who after taking various photos of her inspired me to feature the clothing I like to wear. The clothing in this shoot I will mention every article of clothing I have on... visible.

We shot this in Franklin Canyon. Its a nice place to walk and run, maybe walk the dog. Many locals of Studio City and Beverly Hills who live in the hill or around the area come up to hike and walk here. The scenery is beautiful and there are a lot of paths to take.

We shot this in the evening so the sun was just setting but the trees provided enough shade to keep the bright sun from hitting us. The clothing I wore for this shoot are some of my favorites. I have already featured the shoes and even the shirt in other outfits I have worn.

 We'll start with the shirt and necklace. The shirt I purchased in Hollywood on the strip, east of Highland Ave. It was one of those touristy stores that had souvenirs and clothing. I wasn't planning on buying anything in particular when I went. I just remember going to New York City several months ago and feeling like I wanted to be a "tourist" the most recent time I went, I wanted to feel like a tourist for an hour or so in Hollywood. While passing the stores, I saw this one place that was selling shirts for an affordable price and I came across this shirt that had a skyline view of downtown Los Angeles, CA. For those of you who already know me, I love the color gray, and having a white shirt with a gray background on it caught my attention, and even better, one of my favorite cities which happens to be the city I live in. I had to make the shirt mine so I bought it.

The necklace, well I can't really help anyone to locate cause it was given to me by one of the first contacts I made in Los Angeles. The funny part is that even he doesn't know where he got it.

The shorts I got from a Pacsun store in "The Grove" shopping center. The shorts are meant to be swim trunks so they are't designed to have pockets. There is one pocket but its not a big pocket to carry say a big wallet full of cash. The shorts are very comfortable I will note. For me, I know its not in style but I prefer looser clothing just because I feel less constricted and my lower extremities can breathe a bit. I know styles nowadays prefer tight fit and I am getting use to them. I still like loose fit.

I can't forget to mention the shoes as they are still one of my favorite pairs I have worn. They are very soft and comfortable inside and make great to wear around all day. I feel like I am walking on clouds when I wear these shoes and their look is so chic! Until next time I post everyone =)

One of my First Photo Shoots in Los Angeles - My Journey

 These pictures come from one of the first photo shoots I had in Los Angeles. They were taken in a Downtown loft not far from USC. At the time I just moved to Los Angeles I would say nearly 6 years ago. Thinking about it makes me want to upload a compare and contrast picture of me 5 years ago and how I look now.

Back then I had no idea where my journey would take me but I have come a long way from composing songs for fun, to composing music for short films, and the journey is still not over. Everyday I am learning and experiencing new things. Sometimes learning is a difficult experience but I would never take back the things I have learned or the difficulties of finding my path. Los Angeles has given me strength and weakness, joy and sorrow, opportunity and set backs but I love this city.

Currently, I take pictures of a fashion blogger by the name of Amy Roiland. Her Instagram handle is @afashionerd. Taking pictures for her has taught
me a lot about fashion photography and the camera.
Taking pictures for her has also inspired me to take up fashion shooting myself a few of my favorite outfits that I like to wear. Of course, they might not be standard fashion for most people but I like what I wear. Skinny jeans are probably the hardest thing for me to ever get used to. They are too tight for me, but its something I must learn to like and wear.

Animation is another thing I have taken interest in. I have learned a lot of what it takes to create 2D animation and am hoping to learn more about 3D animation soon. So far, animation to me has proven to be the most fun for me. Hearing my music as the soundtrack of an animation has made me quite the happiest guy on earth! That's just some of my journey, and I look forward to so much more and the rest of my journey living in Los Angeles.

Urban Outfitters (#UOonU) - Melrose Alley

Today I decided to feature all Urban Outfitters! I was out shopping with Afashionnerd (@AFasionNerd) and passing through the men's section I was sidetracked. I needed to get a new outfit that day and so I did! The location we shot the pictures was in the alleys at Melrose! Iggy Photography shot the picture. The colors really match the wall behind me.

The button up shirt is from Globe, nice grayish white shirt. The T-shirt is from Pool House,

Michael Brandon Jeans always comfortable to wear. These jeans are loose fit and call me whatever you like but I prefer my pants be loose rather than tight.

The Vans Snake Skin shoes were really cool and they first caught my eye!

The Color Orange

Yes, Timothy Michael Gould here and I love the color orange! I tend to go through color phases and discover colors in clothing and matching them always is a fun thing for me to do. I tend to treat colors as emotions for myself so certain colors to represent certain emotions even of how I feel or the colors I wear represent my immediate emotional state before the days starts. Currently, my favorite color in clothing is orange but why orange I wasn't entirely certain, so I decided to look up the color orange and how it came about. You can read more about that on my personal blogs but for Lookbook I will talk about the clothing I am wearing.



First item on the list is the shirt which is a regular bright orange shirt I got from Hot Topic. The reason I got it was for the logo which is has a Pokemon Character named "Charmander" on it. I have been a fan of Pokemon during my early years and still has a little part in my heart. Charmander isn't my favorite Pokemon but he is the best example of a orange Pokemon in my opinion.

The next is the shorts which were just some swim shorts that I happen to like. I don't remember where I got them so I can't exactly say where I got them but they look good don't they?

The shoes are definitely the highlight of the shoot They are Alejandro Ingelmo which are one of my favorite shoes I have. I have featured them on a blog on here previously even. You can see more about the shoes in the previous which I also shared here.

Forever 21 Summer!

Today I decided to feature all Forever 21 clothes! Eveything I am wearing here is from forever 21. They have a big selection on summer clothes his year so definitely stop by a store and check out all the cool clothes they have for summer this year.

To start, in this blog I will be featuring a Jean-Michel Basquait tank top. I am not one to usually wear tank tops as I have alway felt they make me look skinny. But good news! This tank too managed to pull me out I my insecurities with my skinny arms and now it made me look, I am feel quite happy to say it... Very handsome! Styling all the summer clothes, the tank with it's T-Rex dinosaur logo really makes me feel like a teenager in summer. 

Also from Forever 21, the next thing people would notice are my shorts. Now just like my shirt, I am not one to really wear a bright colorful pair of swim shorts like these if at all. But once again, Forever 21 has made me comfortable in my skin and wearing them has beema great change! 

The final feature of the blog are the shoes. I needed a nice pair of black shoes and low and behold Forever 21 carried an awesome pair of the LA style shoes. They are also quite comfortable to wear and are a great final touch to the entire outfit. 

All I can say is thank you Forever 21 for all the wonderful and nice clothes I get I wear and this summer!! It's going to be a very fun summer!

And to end the blog, here is one more photo. I haven't climbed a tree in quite a while but Forever 21 brought out the young teen in me! 

Playing the Grand

One of the best things in life is playing the piano. There is nothing like it in the world! Although it fun to just sit down and play whatever I am in the mood to play, being able to play the piano and just "jam" away at the keys was not a talent that I accomplished in one night. I have been playing piano since I was 6 years of age. I  feel every person should have the opportunity to learn to play a musical instrument.

I admit it wasn't always fun to play. When I first started playing or rather I should say learning to play, it was absolutely tiring and as child, quite draining. But after several years of playing, the songs became fun to play and as time when by, it became rather fun to just sit down and start playing a song cause well, I could actually sit and play something that I would enjoy playing. Now, I can listen to a song and within little time at all I can roughly figure out how to play the song. 

I think the best feeling though is being to play what I want to play. When I started learning, I couldn't play just any song cause I didn't know how to play any song. How could I hope to play a song I really liked if I couldn't even play something I needed to learn? 

Practicing and constant practice was necessary to develop the skill and talent of playing music. Once I mastered enough songs and skills to understand music, I was able to pick up on other songs and now, playing piano is only fun fun fun! Actually I can't really say it's pure fun cause I still do has to practice. But, the practice is fun now! 

The Color Gray

This is one of my favorite outfits right now. This picture was taken by one of my friends while we were in an elevator heading out for a drink. Those clothes I am wearing all are gray or have a hint of gray on them, hence the title of the blog. Gray is one of my favorite colors. As boring and uninteresting to some the color maybe, to me it is quite the color to take interest in! Because of it's neutrality and versatility, gray can function in almost any use for attire. This same outfit I wore for an interview once. I have also worn it for outings like the one I went to after this picture was taken. I have also worn it casually while shopping or doing my regular day to day errands.

The pants I have match perfectly with the outfit I have on. Even though they aren't directly gray in color. Their dark bluish gray tone make it a great choice with the rest of the clothes I am wearing. 

The Arider shoes I am wearing are also nicely priced and can be purchased at many stores like Overstock.com, Buycheapr.com and Shoebuy.com. The pair I am wearing I got in Downtown Los Angeles in Santee Alley. 

I love the outfit and how all the clothes I am wearing go together. Love Arider, Eighty Eight and PD&C jeans! They all make a great combo!

Alejandro Ingelmo Shoes!

These are my newest shoes! I feel like the sexiest guy alive when I wear them. The reason why I bought them was that I was looking for some new clothes for my first official performance in Vegas. My band was invited to perform at Tommy Rockers and I wanted to wear something nice and flashy. I don't consider myself a fashion buff or a fashionista to say much about what is trending or what is hot, but I remember passing by this store in the Beverly Center which happened to carry some of the coolest shoes I have ever seen. I had a whole outfit lined up and all I needed now was some shoes. I couldn't find anything for shoes of what I wanted. Everything looked sorta bland and nothing caught my eye so I decided to make the trip to check out the store whose name I know now to be Politix. Below is a link to the store's website.

In there I saw some of the coolest articles of clothing ever! The price range was a bit steep for my normal spending money but and I was a bit hesitant at first but when I saw these shoes I was captivated! They shined all over of an orangish, redish yellow color from the angle the shoe reflected the light. When I found out they only had one pair that was my size left I had to stop only for a minute to decide that they shoes had to be mine! I needed them in my life!

My Versace Jacket

I finally decided to share a picture of me am my Versace jacket. Considering how much it was and how cool and awesome it looks, I don't wear it as often as I should or could! 

The filters I used are from this cool app I recently discovered called "Afterlight." 

The Consequences of Having too Much Fun!

I was swinging. I was jumping. I was climbing trees too. And then I fell. 

I use this real cool app called "Frametastic" for iPhone that allows me to put several pictures together like the image above. Combined with the meme maker app called "Meme Design," I can put phrases or sentences in the pictures as well. I haven't made any recent comic or pictures like this but I'll have to share them with you.

First Keyboard Pictures

Just some pictures from one of my first photo shoots in Los Angeles. I just recently moved to LA when I had these pictures taken.  I just was beginning the big journey of music an composing for the big screen an still had so much to learn about how much hard work it would take to make these big dreams come true! 

This is also during the time where I had the opportunity to compose for the first film I made music for the documentary short, the "Scissor-Tailed Flycatcher."
